The classic drawing is the most intimate artistic means of expression. It is direct expression of a state of mind, subjective observation or scientific analysis tool. Whether spontaneously thrown or complicated construction, the drawing is the thought-form.

The Italian term "disegno" (drawing) does not only mean the result of the fixation of an object in a graphical manner, but rather that every artistic writing ahead-or at least with their associated mental performance. Coming from classical art, the term refers to the conceptual work of the artist, to address the relationship to reality.

The exhibition takes place during the 9th Kaspar Hauser Festival, and it seems without having a motivic reference to the famous, tragic person. Nevertheless, the debate Hauser, with the new world for him and its diverse phenomena and for him incomprehensible laws of the starting point to the exploration of the medium of drawing. If Hauser believes the snow had bitten him when he first experienced the winter outdoors or if he wonders why the fallen apple from the tree does not fly up again, so are the testimonials of its marked not by experience view of the world.
The interpretation of our reality, the appropriation of the world through the direct medium of drawing is the subject of this cross-institutional exhibition of twenty artists from near and far. The exhibition asks the viewer the exact look, reading the lines, the empathic vision, which decipher the hatching, so that the subjective view of the artist revealed to the world.

The exhibition is to see at the same time in Ansbach at Kunsthaus Reitbahn 3, at LOFT and and at the townhouse.
